The Final Farewell

by Alex Johnson December 11, 2018 2 min read

In midst of the somber chaos and utter sadness that often comes with saying our final farewells, there are so many decisions that need to be made, some of which take time. Some of these decisions are easier than others, some of them need to be decided earlier than others, and some of them are viewed as more important than others.  Whether it’s sorting through possessions or filling out forms, selecting a funeral service or planning a wake, the pressure placed on you can be immense, and we understand that.

Some people find it too difficult to select an urn in the earliest days of mourning, the pain still being too much for them to make such an important decision.  It’s not always easy to decide what style of urn you want resting above the fireplace, your occasional reminder of your loved one, so when you are ready for that final step, we are ready to help you.

We understand that getting through the funeral and deciding the steps for the future might be all that you can handle in the immediate aftermath of your loss. It is more common, than not, that selecting an urn for the eternal rest of the ashes might be a decision you’re not ready to make in the midst of such a trying time. With everything else going on, it might not have been a priority at the time, but now you’re ready for this next important step in the mourning process.

Whether it be weeks, months, or years after the death of your loved one, there’s no wrong time to select an urn for them.

With our help, you can finally close out your mourning process, not forgetting your loved one, but moving forward.  Now that the harder stages of grief are behind you, you can laugh again as you remember the happy memories or the way they laughed out loud at the Sunday comics, or perhaps the way they smirked when you told corny jokes. The sadness subsides, but these memories are the part you want to hold on to, which is where it becomes so important to select the right urn now that the time is right.

Make Your Loved One's Final Resting Place One of a Kind with a Personalized Urn.

In helping you hold on to these remembrances, we offer personalized urns to help tailor to your needs and memories. Since you’ve spent so much time waiting to upgrade your urn, it’s important that you select the perfect one for you.  With our urns, you can engrave them with personalized quotes, perhaps ones that your loved one used to say, or phrases that remind you of significant memories. You can select colors that most strongly reflect their character, or engravings that remind you of things they loved; butterflies, flowers, birds, or hearts. These are just a few of your options.  You’ve decided you’re ready for this final step, so let us help you immortalize your loved one in the most unique way possible.
