For example, if your loved one weighed 150 lbs, you’ll need an urn that holds at least 150 cubic inches. Most standard adult urns hold 200 cubic inches. To fill the cremation urn, simply open the designated panel and carefully load the ashes directly into the urn. Once filled, securely tighten the lid or bottom screw. A funeral home often times can assist with filling the urn if preferred.

The cremains were given to me from the funeral home in a cardboard box, which had a plastic container, which had a sturdy plastic bag of my sons cremains. The opening of the Urn I bought from you was large enough so that I was able to leave my sons cremains in the plastic bag and squeeze the bag through the opening and into the Urn. Before the Urn arrived I was dreading having to handle my sons cremains but because I bought the full sized adult Urn it simplified the task. Anyway! We love the Urn it is well made."
