Created in the most natural and artistic way, Aura was carved directly from solid sheesham wood, also known as Indian Rosewood. Its inherent resistance to deterioration creates a widespread use for engraving and woodcarving. Throughout history, sheesham wood is often carved to create artful décor because of its ability to create the feeling of warmth and add a touch of organic aesthetic to all living spaces.
The sheesham wood used to create Aura possesses rich contrasts of golden brown to a deeper reddish-brown and comprises of dark natural wood patterns. Due to its natural source, no one piece will be exactly alike, and each carefully carved piece is completely unique and one of a kind. Adding on to its natural beauty, Aura’s intricately interlocked grains go beyond magnificence and make it exceedingly durable with its high tensile strength.
Beyond beauty, Aura was also created with functionality and simplicity in mind. Aura offers more space than many traditional adult cremation urns and holds up to 260 cubic inches. On the bottom of the urn, there is a plate that is secured by four screws. Upon opening the urn, you will notice that the plate is perfectly cut to the Aura’s shape and is equipped with small round protective pads to maintain the finish of the bottom of your Aura urn. You will also see that a very small portion of one of the plate’s corners has been carefully removed and matches up perfectly with a single delicately placed dot at the corner of the Aura urn’s body. This will help align the plate exactly where it was intended and will prevent the urn from standing unevenly. On the inside of your Aura cremation urn, the plate’s setting is slightly above the empty space of the urn which offers further protection for the precious cremains that are housed within.
