The Adult SoulBird Male strongly evokes emotions of spirituality and the soul, as suggested by it’s name. The urn takes on the form of a graceful, curved bird, which often symbolizes the departure of a soul from this world into the next.
Birds are a wonderful reminder of the flight into heaven, and the freedom of a soul departed. Crafted from brass, the SoulBird urn has a dual monotone finish, with rich ebony finish on some parts that are complemented by silver tones in others. The difference in texture and color provide details to the bird’s shape, revealing wings and a face.
To further add texture to the piece, the silver parts have been hammered by hand to give delicate design elements. Lastly, with a downward pointed tail, the Adult SoulBird is an exquisite and non-traditional way to remember a loved one.

At GetUrns, urn sizes are measured by the volume of ashes they hold in cubic inches. As a guide, one pound of body weight equals approximately one cubic inch of remains. For example, if your loved one weighed 150 lbs, you’ll need an urn that holds at least 150 cubic inches. Most standard adult urns hold 200 cubic inches. Each product listing includes the urn’s capacity, and you can also use our collection page filters to find the right size based on weight.
We recommend gently wiping the urn with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust or fingerprints. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive materials, or excessive moisture, as these can damage the finish. With simple, careful cleaning, your urn will remain a lasting and beautiful tribute.

Brass and aluminum urns are both highly durable options.
Brass urns are known for their exceptional strength and long-lasting quality. They are resistant to corrosion and maintain their finish well over time, making them ideal for long-term indoor display or placement in protected areas.
Aluminum/Alloy urns are lightweight yet strong, and they also resist rust and corrosion. While not quite as heavy or dense as brass, they still provide excellent durability for everyday handling and display.
Both materials hold up very well when kept indoors and are less fragile than ceramic or porcelain urns. They can last for generations with proper care.
Most of our urns for ashes are designed with either a screw-off top or a bottom screw for easy access. To fill the cremation urn, simply open the designated panel and carefully load the ashes directly into the urn. Once filled, securely tighten the lid or bottom screw. A funeral home often times can assist with filling the urn if preferred.
