The Entwined Hearts bead cis a small and intricate bead with a cylindrical shape and a centered hole so that a bracelet or necklace chain can be looped through it. The bead itself is sterling silver that has been plated in rhodium.
The Rhodium plating helps to prevent corrosion or discoloration, and increases the brilliancy of the otherwise dull-ish silver. Nestled perfectly in the center of the bead are two small hearts, intertwined and looping into one another as the perfect symbol of the love between two people.
On the left, the heart matches the brilliant rhodium plating of the bead, and on the right, the bead has been given a gold vermeil plating to bring contrast and balance between the two hearts. This love is further represented by the ability to place a small pinch of ashes or other memorializing item, into the center of the bead, giving it added meaning and significance to the wearer.
Most orders placed before 1:00 pm Central Time ship the same day. Custom engraving typically adds one extra day. Expedited options like Next Day Air and 2nd Day Air are also available. View our full shipping details ›
The amount of cremains that can fit into cremation is very minimal, just a pinch of ashes is usually what fits.
To care for cremation jewelry, gently wipe it with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove oils and residue. It is not recommended to apply any harsh chemicals or use ultrasonic cleaners as you want to avoid exposure to prolonged moisture.
Each piece of cremation jewelry comes with a complete filling kit to make the process as simple as possible. Most designs have a small screw or twist-off opening that allows you to place a tiny amount of ashes inside. Using the included tools, you can carefully guide the ashes into the compartment and then securely close the opening. If you prefer, many families also choose to have a funeral home or crematory assist with filling the jewelry.
Cremation jewelry is water-resistant but not fully waterproof. Light splashes or brief contact with moisture are generally not harmful, but we do not recommend wearing the jewelry while swimming, showering, or participating in activities where it may be submerged. Keeping it dry will help protect the ashes inside and preserve the appearance of the piece over time.
Most of our cremation jewelry is crafted from high-quality sterling silver, offering a classic and timeless look. We also offer pieces in gold vermeil, bronze, and stainless steel, giving you a variety of styles and price points to choose from. Each material is selected for both its beauty and durability, ensuring your jewelry remains a meaningful keepsake for years to come.
